It has been a long time since I updated you'all on this blog but if you can't tell I have been down South a few times in the last couple of months. We were blessed to be in Georgia and Florida for some missions conferences and back home in New York for a few other meetings.
We will be heading back down to Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama from mid May until June.

We covet your prayers for a dear friend of ours that I graduated Bible Institute with that was in a serious motorcycle accident on New Years Eve. This week he will be having his foot and ankle amputated because of the accident. There is no doubt that this is traumatic for everyone involved but it is also encouraging to see someone truly live out their faith in the face of adversity. Some people can handle adversity better than others and while trials will happen to all of us sooner or later, I believe that God gets more glory from those who are able to trust him with their life and circumstances. I have seen how God is still glorified and praised through this family and what an impact that has left of the unsaved family and neighbors.

II Cor. 4:17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." When God's children are doing what they believe God has called them to do and doing it faithfully then how they glorify the Lord is truly up to them. The harder the trial and the more impossible the situation the more God receives the glory.

Our focus should be and should remain on eternity with Jesus Christ for that very next verse is
verse 18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Is God able to do in your life what you can't? Are you willing to let him?
To the human mind it seems impossible what God may want us to do but to a man like Abraham it is said in Romans 4:21 that he was "fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."

Let God do his perfect work in your life today.
